WordPress Site Care Plans

Your website, in safe hands.

Your website works hard for your business. It shouldn’t be one more thing for you to worry about.

My Site Care Plans keep your WordPress website secure, up to date and running smoothly, so you can get on with running your business. I handle the updates, the security and the backups, and you get a short monthly report showing what’s been done.

Website clarity calls featured

Does this sound familiar?

  • “I often found myself overwhelmed by technical aspects I wasn’t confident handling.”
  • “I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my website but just didn’t have the bandwidth.”
  • “I struggled to find the time to keep an eye on any technical updates or issues.”

If you’re nodding at any of those, you’re in the right place.

Feature background

Included in every Site Care Plan

Your site is protected by a Patchstack firewall, which can block attacks on known plugin weaknesses, often before a fix is even released. It’s scanned for malware every day, and login protection stops people from guessing their way in.

I check that your site is up every five minutes and look for new security weaknesses every six hours. If something’s wrong, I’m alerted straight away, usually before you’d ever notice.

A full backup of your site is taken every day, stored securely in the EU and kept for 50 days. If anything ever goes wrong, there’s a recent copy ready to restore.

WordPress, plugins and themes all need regular updates to stay secure. I apply them for you and check that everything still works afterwards, so an update never leaves your site broken.

Need a price changed, a new photo added or a page tweaked? Every plan includes time each month for small changes. Just send me an email and I’ll take care of it.

Each month you’ll get a short report showing what’s been done: updates applied, backups taken and security checks run. Once a year, I’ll also review your website with you and suggest any improvements.

How it works

  2. I review your site. Not every site makes the cut, but I’ll always tell you honestly what I find.

FAQs

I’m here to help answer any questions you might have before you apply for a WordPress Site Care Plan. Didn’t find an answer? Contact me for more help.

Which plan is right for me?

Site Care suits most small business websites. If your website takes bookings or sales, you regularly need changes made, or you’d like an annual security audit and a regular catch-up with me, Site Care+ is the better fit. Not sure? Ask me and I’ll tell you honestly.

What happens if my website is ever hacked?

Security is my priority, and no client of mine has suffered a serious breach. But no website can ever be guaranteed completely secure. If the worst happens, I’ll take your website offline if needed, restore it from a clean backup and change all passwords. If a deeper clean-up is needed, I’ll arrange it with a specialist security company and keep you informed throughout. Specialist costs are charged at cost.

Do I need to be technical?

Not at all. If you can send an email, you can work with me.

You didn’t build my site. Can you still help?

Yes. About half my clients came to me with sites built by someone else. If it’s WordPress, I can look after it.

Can I cancel?

Yes. Monthly plans need 30 days’ notice. Annual plans save you money but are a year’s commitment.

What if something goes wrong?

That’s what I’m here for. I often spot and fix problems before you notice them, and you can always contact me directly. And remember, you deal with me directly, not a ticket system.

What counts as content editing?

Routine updates like blog posts, images, text, menus and form tweaks. It works best when your content arrives ready to go.

What happens if I end my plan?

I make sure everything is up to date, then remove my management tools and take your site off my dashboard.

Still not sure?

Ask me anything. If a care plan isn’t the right fit, I’ll tell you.
